Epoxy Garage Floors in Meridian for Homes and Shops
Meridian Quality Epoxy Floors handles epoxy garage floors in Meridian, Idaho. We grind and coat two-car bays, three-car bays, and shop slabs across Ada County. Flake epoxy, metallic epoxy, and polyaspartic floors are the usual systems on production houses south of I-84. Garage floor prep, epoxy floor repair, and failed coating removal sit on the same number when a kit has already peeled.
Call (208) 502-8405 with the town, bay size, and whether the slab is cracked or already coated. Same week estimates in most cases after we see the concrete. Empty the garage if you can. Photos of the overhead door and any spalls help the quote.

Residential Epoxy Garage Floors Services in Meridian
Production houses along Ten Mile, Locust Grove, and Lake Hazel are the bulk of the residential work. Most of those bays are broom-finish concrete with tire film, a water-heater stain, and hairline cracks at the control joints.
Epoxy Garage Floors
The head job is a full system on a ground slab. We profile the concrete, fill what will telegraph, roll a primer, then build the coat you picked. A big-box kit on an unground floor is a different product. See epoxy garage floors for the sequence from grind through topcoat.
Flake Epoxy
Full-broadcast vinyl chip is what most south Meridian and Kuna garages want. The chip hides broom texture, hairline cracks, and daily dirt. Size and blend change the look more than the chemistry. See flake epoxy for broadcast, rejection, and the lock coat.
Metallic Epoxy
Metallic is a self-leveling pour with pearlescent pigment, not a flake floor with extra shine. Showrooms, studios, and some Eagle shops ask for it. Daily-driver two-car bays can take it, but the swirl will show every drip. See metallic epoxy .
Polyaspartic Floors
Polyaspartic is a faster-cure aliphatic coat. We use it as a wear layer over epoxy, or as a full system when the garage has to return to cars in a short window. It still needs a ground slab. See polyaspartic floors for dew point and pot-life limits.
Garage Floor Prep
Diamond grind is the default profile. Shot blast shows up on hard, dense mix. Acid wash by itself does not make a CSP-3 surface. Moisture tests come before any resin. See garage floor prep for grinding, joints, and vapor numbers.
Epoxy Floor Repair
Peeling kits, hot-tire pickup, and chips at the overhead door are repair jobs when the rest of the film is sound. If the whole coat is lifting, that is removal, not a patch. See epoxy floor repair .
Two-Car Garage Epoxy
The production size in Meridian, Star, and Kuna is a two-car bay, often 400 to 500 square feet. Builder joints, a drain, and a water-heater pad change the edge details. See two-car garage epoxy .
Failed Coating Removal
Old film has to come off or the next coat will lift. Coating over a peeling kit is how the next peel starts. See failed coating removal for grind-off and shot-blast removal.
Basement Epoxy Floors
A downstairs slab is a moisture test first, then a grind and a coat. Rec rooms can take flake. Storage rooms can take a solid color. See basement epoxy floor .
Three-Car Garage Epoxy
A third stall is more joints and a longer empty-bay window than a two-car production slab. We coat the whole field, not two stalls and a gray strip. See three car garage epoxy .
Garage Floor Coating
Coating is the search when you have not picked a resin name yet. The work is still grind, film, and a wear coat that can take hot tires. See garage floor coating .
Polyurea Garage Floors
A fast-cure base that is not slow epoxy. Phoenix menus list it next to flake. The grind does not go away. See polyurea garage floor .
Quartz Epoxy Floors
Mineral aggregate for grip in shops and wet bays, not vinyl chip. Lock the grit so a wash bay still has traction. See quartz epoxy floor .
Commercial Epoxy Flooring
Shops, tenant bays, and light commercial slabs take a different build than a two-car house garage. Traffic, chemicals, and square footage change mil thickness and the topcoat.
Commercial Epoxy
Light commercial floors, service bays, and small warehouse aisles need a spec that matches forklift traffic and chemical splash, not a decorative flake blend. See commercial epoxy for bay coatings and tenant-improvement slabs.
Shop Floors
A working shop has lift posts, oil drips, and solvent spills. The coat is thicker and the broadcast is often quartz, not vinyl chip. See shop floors for mechanic bays and fabrication floors.
Why Meridian Property Owners Call Meridian Quality Epoxy Floors
Most of Meridian went up after 2000. Old Town along Pine, Main, and Meridian Road is the older pocket. North of McMillan is master-planned. South of I-84 is the active new-construction belt. Those three bands make three different garage slabs.
South of the freeway, fill and settlement show up as cracks that move after the first winter. Tuscany, Century Farm, Sky Mesa, and Movado are typical of that stock. Paramount, Bridgetower, and Lochsa Falls north of McMillan are a little older, with the same broom finish and the same HOA vinyl next to the overhead door. We grind those slabs. We do not acid-stain a tire film and call it prep.
Climate does the rest. Summers often run over 100 F. That is hot-tire pickup weather on a thin kit. Winters are cold with light snow and freeze-thaw at the door threshold. August is dry. December is the wet month. Irrigation laterals still cut some lots, so vapor through a slab on grade is a real test, not a brochure line. We run calcium chloride or an in-slab RH probe when the floor looks wet or the house sits on irrigated ground.
The Village at Meridian, Settlers Park, and Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park sit next to the housing that feeds this work. West Ada schools and the Idaho State Police campus mark the same corridors we drive: Chinden, Eagle Road, Fairview, Ten Mile, Locust Grove, Linder, McMillan, and Lake Hazel. The process is grind, repair, coat. The materials are 100% solids epoxy, vinyl flake, metallic pigment, and polyaspartic wear coats. We quote the slab in front of us.
Our Epoxy Flooring Process
The sequence is the same idea on a two-car bay and a shop. The mix, the mils, and the clock change with the system.
Look at the slab first
We measure the bay, map cracks, and note the overhead-door gap. We check for a prior coat, a sealer, or a paint film. A plastic-sheet test or a meter reading tells us if vapor is in play. We talk flake, metallic, or a solid color only after that look. The quote lists prep, repair, and the system as separate lines so you can see what you are buying.
Grind and repair the concrete
Diamond cup wheels cut through laitance and open a profile. We vacuum the dust as we go. Control joints get a flexible fill. Spalls get a patch that will take the primer. If an old kit is failing, it comes off in this step, not under a new roll. We do not skip the grind because the slab looks clean.
Coat, broadcast, and lock
Primer goes down on the open concrete. The body coat follows in the mil range the system needs. Full-broadcast flake is walked in to rejection on most house jobs. Metallic is poured and worked as a self-leveling film. We keep spike shoes, rollers, and squeegees to the mix in the bucket. Pot life is short in a Meridian July.
Topcoat and return the bay
A clear polyaspartic or urethane wear coat locks the flake or the metallic. We add a slip texture at the door if you asked for it. Cars stay out until the system reaches the return window on the data sheet. Most flake jobs run two days. Fast polyaspartic return can shrink when temperature and dew point allow.
Areas We Serve
Meridian is the hub for this work. We coat slabs in Boise , Nampa , Caldwell , Eagle , Kuna , Star , Middleton , Garden City , Emmett , Hidden Springs , south Meridian , and Melba . Each town page covers housing stock and access, not a copy of this homepage. If your garage sits just outside those names and the job is a real grind and coat, call (208) 502-8405 .
Questions
How do we get an epoxy garage floors estimate?
Call or text the number on this page. Name the town, the bay size, and whether the slab is bare, cracked, or already coated. A photo of the overhead door and any spalls helps. We look at the concrete before we quote. Same week visits in most cases. There is no charge for that look, and no obligation to book the coat.
Which towns do you coat from Meridian?
Meridian is the hub. We also take Boise, Nampa, Eagle, Kuna, Star, Caldwell, Garden City, Middleton, Emmett, Hidden Springs, south Meridian, and Melba. Canyon County and Ada County slabs both come through this number. If the garage is next door to those towns and the job is a real grind and coat, say so on the call.
Do you publish a price list for epoxy garage floors?
No. Angi lists a national average near $2,525 and a band of $750 to $5,800. HomeAdvisor lists $1,650 to $3,493 for many jobs. Fixr puts a full epoxy coat on a two-car slab around $5,750 to $8,625. Those are published national bands, not our menu. The quote is for your square footage, prep, and system.
Who does the grind and the coat?
Calls and texts go to an independent local coating contractor that takes work from this site. That business sets the schedule, the mix, and the agreement with you. These pages describe how the trade is done and what Treasure Valley slabs usually need. Credentials, if you need them, belong to the person who shows up, not to this website.
Can I text instead of calling about a garage slab?
Yes. Text the same number. Put the town on the first line. Add two-car or three-car, flake or metallic, and a note if a kit already failed. Photos of tire marks and the control joints help. We answer texts the same way we answer calls. Keep the cars out of the bay if you want a visit that week.
Is the estimate free for epoxy garage floors?
Yes. We quote after we see the slab or enough photos to know the prep. Empty the floor if you can. Say if the water heater sits on a pad or if a drain is in the middle. We do not start a grind until you accept the quote. You can decline after the visit with no fee for the look.
